OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Toon Boom Animation is partnering with Herzing College to offer a new one-year Storyboard Artist program. The course, currently open for registration, covers everything from the basics of drawing and composition to advanced visual storytelling techniques, along with efficient use of industry-standard tools like Storyboard Pro. The goal of the curriculum is to help aspiring artists develop their skills and prepare for a rewarding career in the entertainment industry.
Throughout the classes, students will develop portfolios of storyboards which showcase their technical skills as well as their creativity. The year culminates with their choice of a final project or a three-month internship, working alongside seasoned directors and preproduction artists who will share their own insights and feedback with participants.
