I am very proud of how The Great North is turning out. As I write this, we are just finishing Season 1. It’s been challenging taking on the role of Animation Supervisor on a network tv show, especially with the crew being separated due to the pandemic. But it’s been really exciting seeing the show come together. As Season 2 ramps up, I think the quality will get even better. On the personal side, I’ve been working on a short called ‘Trojan Horace’ in my very minimal free time. Toon Boom has been my main software for both story and animation with this project. On almost every shot I continue to discover new and helpful features with the software.

I am currently the Animation Supervisor of the Fox Animated Series 'The Great North' for Bento Box. Besides Bento Box, my career related to Toon Boom includes Mike Judge's 'Tales from the TourBus', The documentary 'Rodents of an Unusual Size' via Pipsqueak Films, various Youtube projects for Dreamworks, most notably 'LATTJO' and 'Get My Goat'. My first projects with Harmony were 'Where's My Mickey' and 'Where's My Water 2' from Disney Interactive. The thing I enjoy most about animation is the creative process. From a vision in your head one minute, to something that can be shared with thousands of people a short time later, it's amazing how easily it can be done these days.

I never knew I was going to end up in animation, but thanks to a teacher who saw my love for illustration got me to join her class, I get to do what I love for the rest of my life. I have worked on the Hulu Animated series Solar Opposites and am now working full time as a digital designer, getting to create animations for Volvo and Logitech. I adore the freedom of bringing anything our minds can imagine to life and creating depth to our worlds and characters. And I would never change that for anything in the world.

Animator, illustrator, painter fascinated in the history of art. Currently a freelancer. My main strength is gesture drawing and planning rough animation which I enjoy most. I like to participate in the creative projects which are less connected to the mainstream. I am also focused on developing my own children books as an author and illustrator.
