My experience in the Animation industry has been primarily focused on Builds/Rigging. I graduated from Algonquin college in 2021 and have been on several productions since then! I've worked with Toon Boom Harmony in a large variety of ways. I feel like building/rigging really is the best of both worlds, I get the aspect of being creative along with a technical side with the knowledge of Harmony itself.

I never knew if I was actually going to end up in animation, but I happened to fall in love with the craft after a long time of uncertainty. I have worked on a Disney TV series in Vancouver and now I am working part-time in an animation/ illustration studio in the heart of Zurich City. I love how we can communicate the most complex feelings and emotions through our craft in ways no other medium can. We can come up with the most fantastic places that only exist in our imagination and make them come to life. And that’s what makes me love my job every day of my life.

Kimmie is a Black 2D animator who loves kickboxing, poker and video games! Growing up, she loved art and writing stories, soon discovering that animation can combine her two passions into one! In her professional career, she has worked with clients such as Nickelodeon, Giphy Arts, BET, Ziwe Fumudoh, and others. She tries to make each project a learning experience for her whether it is problem solving a challenge or pushing her craft further. Her personal animations are often flowy and graphic with playing card aesthetics. She is also developing a noir thriller short during her spare time!
