This is Sergio, 2D character animator and co-founder of Team Inbetween Studios, a studio born from our passion for traditional animation to pursue and create high quality content in the animation industry. After working at The SPA Studio and Caribara, among others, I jumped into the creation of Team Inbetween Studios to develop our own ideas and to get a deeper and more meaningful understanding of animation.

My experience with animation is that I'm heavily invested in the medium. I went to school for animation and have earned a BFA and MFA concentrating in the art form. As a result of various assignments and classes, I have dabbled in a few techniques and methods with stop motion, 2D and 3D. I have a solid understanding of the animation pipeline process from making student films and I have worked professionally as an animation retaker and clean-up artist at a few studios. Primarily, I work as an Assistant Professor teaching animation and visual storytelling classes.

I am a 2D animator/builds artist who loves to create bouncy and snappy animations. I got to do 2D character animation on The Prince, Farzar, City Island and GizmoGO! I also got to do some prop vectoring and rigging on Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures. My favorite aspect of animation production is collaborating with so many talented people and getting to learn from them throughout the production. I hope I get to meet more animators and artists, and work on more fun projects for years to come!
