I’m a Toon Boom Harmony rig Supervisor and R&D in Toon Boom for Xilam Animation (France). I did my studies in 2D animation in Spain, and finally I specialized in Toon Boom Harmony, with a specialty in Rigging. I’m very curious how things work. Working at Xilam Animation allows me to develop my knowledge about the software: creating new builds, developing tools for different phases in a production.

I graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in Media Art in 2006. My first job after college was studio manager at independent animation house Blend Films, where I learned the tricky art of balancing both client work and personal projects. A few years later, my twin sister Joy Buran and I started our own animation studio where we’re currently balancing commercial videos, our latest animated short, and a children’s book about the 12 Days of Christmas. I live and work in the Catskill mountains with my husband, our two cats, two dogs, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I'm a recent graduate currently working as an animator at Bento Box, and I've working in the industry for a little over a year as both an animator and rigger. I love building fan rigs for fun outside of work, to share my passion for rig animation with others who may be unfamiliar with the medium!
